Desert Essence Organics Pumpkin Spice Hand Repair Cream Review

October 12th, 2017 | 1 minute to read

I didn’t use much hand cream before when I was living in Asia. I think partially due to the generally humid weather, the skin on my hands didn’t go that bad. Living in Sweden is another story. The weather here is cold and dry, and after the normal housework, my hands got dry and some parts cracked even! So I decided to get a tube of repair hand cream, and Desert Essence Organics Pumpkin Spice Hand Repair Cream is the first one I tried.

The color of the cream is lightly muted orange, however, after absorbing it goes colorless.

User Experience:

The ingredient contains a lot of natural and organic elements, which I like very much. The texture is light, easy to spread, however, it does take a little while to get totally absorbed into the skin. You have to rob and pat a little. Once it’s done, my hands does feel light and moisturized.

The scent and its name is quite misleading though. I bought it in the hope it has nice pumpkin spice smell, but it actually smells more like fruit candies, sweet and peachy. As a hand cream, this scent might be a bit strong too. I prefer all the scented products to be subtle, especially the hand ones.

The 118ml plastic tube is nice, easy to squeeze. However, I do hope they have a version of 30ml then it’s easy to take it out or for travel. Use within 6 months after opening.
