Nice Cream, like its name, is a very nice little ice-cream place that’s totally plant-based, which is animal-friendly and eco-friendly. The store itself is quite small, just a counter where you get your ice-cream of choice, then you can either sit outside on the benches to eat or eat as you go.
The area might not be aimed for typical tourists, but it’s certainly nice to visit if you have a bit more time. It’s packed with a lot of lovely vintage and second hand stores. It could be ideal to pick some treasures and hang out with friends on a sunny afternoon.
The ice-cream can be served in different quantities, in paper cup, with waffle cones, or made into a popsicle. I especially like that those creamy ice-cream balls were served with crumbles of cookies, brownies, or chocolate chips. It’s more interesting on the color and adds texture.
We tried chocolate, blueberries, strawberries, and coffee with caramel. They all tasted super good, served in perfect round balls in a cup, especially on a hot summer day. If I have to pick just one favorite, I would say the coffee one is the best. My only wish is that Nice Cream will establish itself around the town, not only making those little gems more accessible to every body, but also for us traveling vegans who might not have time to venture into more local areas, but dying to quench the thirst for a nice plant-based ice-cream.
